Bill Countiss conducts a transactional practice in oil and gas, real estate, commercial and business law. He received his B. S. degree in agricultural economics in 1967 from Texas Tech University and his law degree in 1970 from Southern Methodist University. Mr. Countiss is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Amarillo Area Bar Association. He is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. He is also board certified in oil, gas, and mineral law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Countiss has served as president of the Amarillo Symphony, Inc., Amarillo Executive Association, Amarillo West Rotary Club, Kids Inc. Foundation, and the Amarillo Girl Scout Council Foundation.
